There is hope…

The sun sets on another day…

Sunset was clear, bright, and full of promise. For me, it was a day where I could see some hope on the horizon, and for the rest of the world, perhaps a time of reflection.

I sit here now and for a moment I watched news men scramble as they tried to decide some hidden fate of the future. I was unimpressed.

I was impressed today as I stood in line to vote at the number of truly positive people I talked to in line. Some were ready for one candidate to be gone, several said to me this was the first time they had voted in years and it was just to keep the new candidate from winning. My point is, in line there was none of the animosity we have seen in the media. No intimidation, craziness, or anything but good people exercising their right to vote.

This should mean something to us all. We don’t have to hate. If we only have 29000 sunsets, how many are filled with hate? Why? If we only have 29000 sunsets, is that a good use of our time?

So as the sun sets on another day, today was a new day, and who knows what tomorrow will bring. I just hope it will bring people who are happy and enjoy each other a little more, and I hope we find out hunamity along the way, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and be a good person…
