The sun sets on another day…
I was sad today. Well, that is a weird statement. I rose above it and set it in a bucket to whither, but I was sad for a while today because I parked my car for the season. Sunset was amazing though, and that made the day even better. Sometimes a sunset will make your day even better, it always does mine.
You know, seasons pass. There is a time for everything, and I could have kept my car out and watched the snow mount, but instead I park it for the winter so I can keep it longer. I know the world is an interesting place with a lot of challenges, but as the seasons change it gives us perspective. Change is good, because it makes us either appreciate what we used to have, or appreciate what we are now experiencing. In the end, the world will be pretty bland if not for change. Embrace change, be a part of it, and watch it grow.
So as the sun sets on another day, I look forward to April, when I can get my car and avoid a speeding ticket again. I look forward to May, when flowers are back in force, but mostly I look forward to each day being a day of wonder, and change being part of every day, no matter what.
