The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was amazing, and the skies were lit with pinks and purple, fire was abundant.
Feeling down? worried about the world? Yourself? Others? Maybe it is time to make a list. It is a simple suggestion. First, if things are really bad, get help. We should never have to face the darkness of despair alone, but if you are just a little down start each day with a simple exercise in appreciation.
What do you have to be thankful for? BE honest, and there is always a lot.
What do you have to overcome? BE honest, there is sometimes a lot.
You should quickly have a few big items on a short list of positives and negatives. In my opinion you can then approach the day with positives in your pocket and the awareness that you will be overcoming it all rapidly because it will not blindside you. Sure, there will be new challenges but if you focus there will be new positives as well.
So as the sun sets on another day, again, if you are suffering from depression, get help, but if its just a bad day, try to smile and find a pathway to happiness no matter what.
