The sun sets on another day…
I have written about passion often. Maybe a little more than often. At least 59 times I have made passion the center of my post. Personally I don’t think I have enough.
Maybe I need to preach passion like some man on a high pulpit screaming from the depths of his lungs. Perhaps I need to mention passion each day, perhaps I need to explain passion more often, perhaps I need to shut up. All are good choices.
Passion is that near uncontrollable feeling about doing something. It could be anything. A lot of people think passion is about religion or people, but really it is about feeling strongly about things. Passion can be a doorway to forever, or a perilous plunge. It can be that thing that allows you to excel and exceed, or it can be that one thing that takes you away from where you want to be and builds rabbit holes everywhere. I would like to think it is a lot like the force. There is a good and bad side to it, and we need to be mindful of passion lest we slip into the dark side. (muhahahah?)
So as the sun sets on another day, passion can be and often is the greatest motivator we have. It allows us to push when no one else is pushing, and somewhere along the way helps out day be better. Good or bad is up to us, but passion rules the day. Make your passion do good things, and live life as powerfully as you can, no matter what.
