The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was striking as the wheels of the car turned again and I ended up in another location just for a while. As we drove shards of light we’re once again visible through the thick clouds but the colors were also there and the sunset was peaceful.
I am often amazed at how people and family are made. Many people think that family is something born of blood. For many years I thought this and felt that only being close to family was at the core of everything. I enjoyed my friends, the few that I had. Still as the years have passed I have found did those friends at my core and others are closer sometimes or at least equal to family. Recently I also found did sometimes family isn’t there and that was another change.
Understanding that each day we learn something new is hard for many people to understand, but it is true. We have to leave ourselves open to knowing that everything that we know might not be anything that we know. If that sounds confusing think about it for just a minute. The world can be shredded around us very quickly when we realize that a core truth we believed wasn’t as true as we thought. I’m finding over and over that the only truth is the truth may change.
Still that wasn’t the point of today. I just wanted to say sometimes your friends are as close as family and you should make sure that they know it. Sometimes the people you can count on and right there in front of you. Let them know they can count on you too.
So as the sun sets on another day, family is wonderful and friends are too but at the end of the day it’s always you. Find yourself and make your life awesome and just remember to find love too. Make it happen oh, no matter what.
