The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was cloudy and cold but there were good feelings in the air and nothing but positives could come from that.
I often sit back and think about how people approach language. I’ve talked about this many times but for me the amazing piece is how it’s so easy for people to misunderstand each other. What seems like something that is clear and concise to one person can be confusing to someone else. Even written language can be lost simply because people do not understand .
it would be interesting if people could read each other’s minds for just a moment. If they could see inside and see how people really thought and how people really felt perhaps there would be more clarity. A mind would be unclouded with personal biases associated with simple words and still there may be no easy way to describe a sunset.
This is another “So what?”. Quite simply people need to work on communication and as they talk to each other realize that the world is an amazing place and it’s mostly because of our diversity that it’s so amazing. Take a moment and enjoy who you are and how wonderfully you fit in to this world.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s take a moment and realize that communication is a pretty cool thing and maybe just maybe we need to listen as well as talk. It’s just a thought but I hope you enjoy it, no matter what.
