The sun sets on another day…
Every once in a while you have to dance. Every once in a while you have to celebrate even if there is little to actually celebrate. Perhaps just celebrate the sunset, and the colors you see with its setting.
A lot of people can’t necessarily see how truly lucky they are each day. They go through life working hard and feeling like they’re making a difference. I’m challenging here for a moment. What is the difference that you make?
It sounds like it’s an easy question, but we all know that it isn’t. We work then we come home jiggidy jig. It’s not like everyone enjoys the work and unfortunately, it’s not like they enjoy coming home either. The point is that here is a significant amount of time and quite a number of people find their most enjoyable time to be when they’re asleep. It’s time for that to stop.
Each day when you get up you have a choice on how you want to approach the day. It may be that you are approaching the day with a negative outlook and I can assure you that you will find a negative day. Another option and the option that I continually choose is to wake up and look for a positive. When you find that positive build your day around it. It may not be instantly evident and it may be something that eludes you for at least the first few minutes but there is a positive in each of our lives if we want to find it. As you get ready find more positives then as you work find more and continue on the entire day looking for positives. It’s easy to find negatives as well but do they really matter? It’s easy to get lost in negativity but is that really how you want to spend your day?
The glint of a sunrise, the smell of a rose, the feel of the shower caressing your skin, even just the breath going in and out of your lungs can be a positive. Hold onto them then dance a jig and enjoy that as well.
So as the sun sets on another day let’s take a moment and just close our eyes and think about the positives. Giggle , laugh, dance, and just have fun with every moment you can, no matter what.
