The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was amazing as usual. I am saddened a little at the shorter days. Soon I will be working before light and after dark each day, I am many times now anyway. Time, it seems, has taken over again.
It’s ok. (or okay if you prefer) No matter how you slice it the day is still 24 hours and the time we spend is the same. Sure, there may be more night, but as we move forward the cycle will begin again, and we will find ourselves with longer days. The trick is enjoying what you have every instant you can and in the process making time your friend.
I have written before about Stephen Kings “Pretty Pony Time” and I suggest everyone read it, not because it is amazing and perfect (it is very good) but because it allows readers the chance to consider other ideas about time.
We all know time grinds to a halt when we are watching the clock, and many of us realize that in the wonderful times of our life it passes rabbit fast. We need to focus on stretching time out and our perception of time in the good times. All we have to do is pay attention. (Well, that’s my opinion)
Pay attention to the good things, pay attention to the moments in front of us, pay attention to every item we can and perhaps time (It works for me) will seem longer, even when we are doing super and amazing. Try it at least, and enjoy the time you have every day.
So as the sun sets on another day, it’s time. Time to enjoy our time, time to enjoy people, time to enjoy good, and maybe even time to enjoy the less than good. No matter how you slice the day, it is time, and time keeps going on, no matter what. Make the best of it every day, with all you can.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy your time…
