The sun sets on another day…
I thought it was going to be an amazing day with a magnificent sunset and somewhere it was, but here there was a little bit of craziness and here the gray closed in on us all. Somewhere high above the sunset was beyond belief.
Fool: a person lacking in judgment or prudence
There are so many other choices for definitions, but this one works. I find myself considering the definition here and wondering it’s being foolish is such a bad thing. One person’s good judgment could very well be another person’s bad judgment and vice versa. As we look at our lives maybe we should measure what the word fool actually means and somewhere in the middle determine if a fool is really foolish.
By definition I have failed many times. My decisions were often driven by unwavering positivity and belief in people that may not have deserved it. Later I might find that those people did not align with me to the level I thought then somewhere in the middle I just kept going. I have been a fool for love, a fool for friends, a fool for change, a fool for prudence, a fool for drive, a fool for persistence, and a lot more. I know that many people want to succeed all the time but without occasionally finding failure how can you succeed? How can you do it right if you haven’t done it wrong?
All good questions. I think occasionally we need to be a little foolish, and as we are perhaps we’ll find the wisdom to not need to be foolish again.

So as the sun sets on another day, it’s been a fun day. I think I’ll keep having fun and somewhere along the way the world will become a better place. I’ll try to help it but if I can’t I’ll try again tomorrow and find a better way, no matter what.
