The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was impressive and amazing, and the clear sky gave way to shining colors on the horizon. It was peaceful and sublime.
A movie once said “If you look for the bad in mankind expecting to find it, you surely will.” Numerous books and movies portray the good in man, and how if we look we will find it. So which is it?
I have found that it is true, both things. That we will find whatever we look for in man, good or evil, and that it is there in all of us. Sometimes people are less than open to think of bad, or good, and it is important for us all to start seeing what is there.
There is a short story in an upcoming anthology that has a unique message. “…a monster is not how someone looks but is instead defined by the power of their actions and the trail they leave behind…” and I believe that a good person is defined the same way.
So what trail are you leaving? Is it a good trail with powerful positives, or not so good with difficult twists and turns, and battered souls in your wake. Only you can decide how to make your life, but I hope you find a path that works well. I hope you find your way. Not anyone else’s way, but the way that works for you.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope today is the best day of your life so far, and look for the positives each day. I am sure you will find them, no matter what.
