The sun sets on another day…
It’s snowing again but it is beautiful and covers the horizon with pure white.
It seems there is more snow today than a lot of the year last year. Today has been awesome though and somewhere in the middle I decided a cheeseburger was the only thing that could make it better. I found a super cheeseburger, and enjoyed the evening plowing snow and finding most of my driveway.
It is funny how the simplest things can sometimes be the ones that make our day better. What is that little thing that hits home for you? Is it a simple activity like running? a talk with the dogs or cats? A walk in the park? Or how about a cheeseburger?
There is a huge difference between being alive and living. Being alive is a biological act that may contain a series of items depending on how you define it. To live, is well, to take it to the next level and not forget your cheeseburgers along the way. Somewhere in the grand scope of it all we have to remember that we need to live, to enjoy, top achieve and to do even more as we can. After all what is life if we are not living it.
So as the sun sets on another day, I may listen to Julie Andrews sing favorite things, or I just might smile for a while and enjoy the night. Do what you love and love what you do, and make each day yours, no matter what.
