The sun sets on another day…
Storms specked the horizon, but the sun slipped out and slapped down some fun golden reds before being swallowed again. It was a good moment.
I like to think I laugh a lot. I may laugh a little too much. I have found there are few things in life that you can’t laugh at, George Carlin taught me that. I know, there are some things we should not really laugh at, but it is a world where laughter can get you through another day.
It was a little necessary today as I smiled, laughed and enjoyed what I could while the day became an obsession, and a series of interesting events. Sometimes it is just that way. To think it all started with a few dad jokes. With that in mind let me zap you with these:
Why did the golfer bring two pairs of pants? In case he got a hole in one.
Why do seagulls fly over the sea? If they flew over the bay, they would be bagels.
What did the baby corn say to the mama corn? Where’s popcorn?
What do you call two monkeys who share an Amazon Prime account? Prime mates.
I just found out I’m colorblind. The news came out of the purple!
Where do pirates get their hooks? Second hand stores.
What did Johnny’s mother do when she caught him zapping the other children with static electricity? She grounded him.
…and if that is not enough…
A panic-stricken man explained to his doctor, “You have to help me, I think I’m shrinking.” “Now settle down,” the doctor calmly told him. “You’ll just have to learn to be a little patient.”
Well that was a little fun. Literally a little fun.
So as the sun sets on another day, enjoy a little laugh. Laugh a little more and try to see a bright side even in the dark. After all, the world is an amazing place if you let it be so. Enjoy each moment that you can, and make someone else laugh too, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and ha ha ha…
