The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was a convoluted mess of clouds and Light, in other words it was pretty awesome. Sometimes it takes a little chaos to make everything prettier.
I want to play a game for a second. Take just a moment and look at the picture. Then either write down or think of a few words about the picture. Are you with me? Okay now write a few more words or think of a few more words.
Now look at what you wrote or think about what came to mind. Really think about it. Was it positive, did you talk about how pretty something was or the good aspects of it? Was it negative? Did you look at the problems with the particular picture? Was it somewhere in between did you give an idea and add a “but” to try to balance it?
It might surprise you to know this picture was originally straight and perfect, and I adjusted it just for this post. Somewhere in the world we have to start looking for the good in everything and stop throwing in the “buts” or even getting close to any of them. Sometimes looking at the good is worth it as you see far better.
So as the sun sets on another day, sometimes there are bad things. I acknowledge there are bad days, bad times, and things that are hard to handle. At the same time how we respond to them is what makes us unique. Let’s find a path to take a high road and when you see something that is not what you like, well, find the good in it anyway. I hope you find your good days always, no matter what.
