The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was lost in a misty fog that shrouded the world in misty mists of foggy fog. As I looked out to the lake, I could not see where the mist stopped, and the lake started, nor could I see the sunset. I did, however, have a fantastic sunset sent to me, and I am happy for it and then some!
I think today has been one of the most fantastic days I have dealt with. Oh wait, I usually have good days, but this was at the top. Of course, it wasn’t perfect because if I had a perfect day, I would probably faint, maybe even giggle and laugh. There were, however, a few things that made my day spectacular.
Last night a young man read one of the stories from yet another slice of fear. His reaction was a lot of fun, and he enjoyed the story, but it was also noted as a bit intense. The idea of wasps being more aware does have some strangeness attached to it. It also could make some people uncomfortable as they realize that wasps outnumber us. This morning he came by laughing and bought the first and second books. We discussed the book from last night, and he was almost giddy with the idea of reading them. I was happy.
Also today, a wonderful young woman came by, talked about my books, and purchased two more. We talked about many things, and she showed me some art she had done, and to say it was spectacular didn’t do the art justice. Watching her eyes, I saw a passion for her craft in very few people. She was unsure of how good she was, but I wasn’t. Before me, I saw the potential that many wish they had. I look forward to great things and hope she and I can create something spectacular in the future.
Finally, I talked to another person and am working on a book she inspired. It is always interesting to me to watch people’s eyes. As I do, I pay close attention to how people react; this person, though not overconfident, is a hero. I have seen them work hard patiently and pay attention to people from the sidelines While others benefit from who she is. She is truly an inspiration, and I appreciate her each day. Someday I will have the book finished, but her passion and dedication beyond herself inspired the ideas that are in my mind.
Why is it that some people walk by each other and don’t see the magic that we all possess? Why don’t we see beyond the small Spectrum that we understand and realize how fantastic other people are or even maybe? We have an opportunity to lift others even as they are lifting us and helping us see beyond what is simply there to the power of what might be. As we do so, take your step to the side and realize the world is a better place as we learn to know each other.
So as the sun sets on another day, let’s take a moment and pay attention to the fantastic people around us and as we do let’s try to make our world a little better both for us and for them, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and enjoy it all…
