The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was spectacular as the sky covered itself with clouds and shimmering light. I was amazed as finally the wind and the storm separated and made the sky a stunning light show.
There is a very old song called Misty. The first time I saw it was in a movie where I experienced a jump scare and wasn’t expecting it. I remember the words quite clearly and feel like sometimes I am clinging to a cloud getting misty in that moment. Of course the song is about being in love but why can’t I be in love with the sunset? Why can’t the heart be so big that it can love more?
From there I have to ask where your favorite place is and what you love about it. Take a moment and think about all the places you have visited and all the things you have seen. Now close your eyes and visit again. As you do so just feel the happiness rush across you and get misty in the moment.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you can take a moment and enjoy every place that you go and everything that you do. Those memories will give you solace and help you see beyond those moments that are sometimes mundane. Take a deep breath and enjoy everything you have, no matter what.
