The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was spectacular as we arrived home almost shadowing the sun and watching the near mystic lights in the western sky. I smiled with anticipation that being back at our house and the peace that would come along.
The last 48 hours have been a whirlwind. A drive to Kentucky in order to take pictures at a fantastic event, a bunch of work and fellowship as volunteers came together and made Christmas special for quite a few children, then a drive back home with a few stops in between.
Last night we stopped at a fantastic restaurant in Elizabethtown, KY. The food was as it was remembered and a delight for the palette. The people were amazing, and we drove again until getting to an outlet mall almost before it closed.
We had been up since very early and called it a night in the middle of Indiana, then dashed ahead this morning and shopped several places near Castleton Square Mall. The day flew by and it was laughter and excitement and a little bit of mystery as we listened to the radio, some streaming, and talked to people along the way.
The big accomplishment of the day was getting my white elephant gift solved. It was a little too late but as our family opens presents this year, I hope it becomes a lot of fun and we get to enjoy the laughter of everyone involved.
So as the sun sets on another day, have good days., Change the world. Make your day amazing and be you every day. It is worth it!
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep living…
