The sun sets on another day…
I’m sitting here on this first day of June watching the sky shift around and make the world a little bit better. I’m amazed by everything, mostly because it’s everything. As the sun sets I am here watching and enjoying the moment and jotting down notes for this post.
With that, here are my thoughts.
Abyss
I stand here on the edge.
in an instant I will cross over
I cannot see what lies beyond
but I know that I will not hover
I’ll find a way to deal with it all
and will be certain to make it thoughtful
because without this moment at the edge
there’ll be nothing to stop the lull
I stand here unsure of tomorrow
and I know I’ll find my way
because I’ll live my best right now
until tomorrow becomes today
So as the sun sets on another day, I think I’m ready. Tomorrow will be a day that has been coming for a long time , but that’s OK. I will make it the best day I can and we will have a fantastic event, then another day will come. I hope you’re having a fantastic day and enjoying your moments, no matter what.
