The sun sets on another day…
It was beautiful as the sun set. Clear skies and a shimmer of color here and there made the sunsets beauty complete, and then some.
Before you as a journey, a mountain, an obstacle. It is a journey beyond where you have been and every day you get closer to what you will never know. Tomorrow is out there and how you shape it is up to you.
We seem to think that there is this formula that works. There are so many books on the subject that you could sit and read them for the rest of your life and still never finish. From Tony Robbins to dozens of thousandaires and millionaires we find ourselves surrounded by everyone who seems to know how to solve the world or at least how to get through the next few minutes of it. I find myself amazed that there is a solution for everything and it is only one solution.
Wait a second, if that were true we would all be millionaires, right? Maybe the answer is a little more insidious, maybe we have to find a way to work at things and determine what’s best for us. I can tell you wholeheartedly that I have done some really amazing things that have not given me the successes that I wanted. I have also done some amazing things that no one else will ever know about and that I didn’t intend to do to the level that I did.
That’s confusing isn’t it?
I have still accomplished things and maybe I measure success differently. Maybe my success is measured on the climb and not on the destination. Did I have fun? Did I succeed in what I was trying to do? How did it make me feel? (No I am not in therapy)
Let’s keep climbing together and somewhere along the way let’s find the ability to be in the middle of it all and make our own successes, defined by what’s important to us. After all, we have to get ourselves there.
So as the sun sets on another day, keep rocking the world. Make every day completely awesome if you can. And enjoy the world that you have, no matter what.
