The sun sets on another day…
Sunset lit the sky with more than color. A shimmer in the air was glorious, and the sky was filled with hope. All we really need is a little hope. The sunset will do the rest.
I thought a lot today about innocence. I’ve written about it numerous times simply because I am fascinated with how we learn. I’m also fascinated with how innocence creates an ability for us to see more effectively. As I have watched numerous children recently with my grandchildren I have noticed how they interact and how they don’t apply bias or preconceived notions of any type on the people around them. Instead, they drive towards their goals and usually that is the goal of having fun.
Why can’t we do the same?
Think about it.
Why does it have to be so hard to let go? Why does it have to be so hard to believe in ourselves? Why does it have to be so hard to believe in others? All we need to do yes believe and find the innocence we once had.
I’m going to keep trying every day to find the innocence that allows me to believe in people even when I shouldn’t and believe in myself always. Won’t you join me?
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find innocence and in the process, I hope you find a world full of peace. We can all do it if we just try, no matter what.
