The sun sets on another day…
I find myself interested and wondering about the illusions in our world. There are many and among the largest is the idea that we have some control over our illusions. This may be a strange series of thoughts but as I was reading yesterday I found myself considering the idea of shared illusions and all of the things that we think we have seen but never did. By that same token I think about the people I know that sat back and created illusions of how they thought things were never realizing that reality was a lot different.
Who cares right? We can all live in our own little illusions can’t we? Does it really matter what we know versus what we think we know versus what truly is? Yes, there is a difference.
I dated a woman a long time ago who had an idea of what our relationship was. We shared a lot and she shared with me what she wanted out of life. Looking back, the number of material items in her list should have given me pause, but I was young and stupid as we all are from time to time. I found myself living in her illusion instead of living in my truth and eventually it was not good for me.
Do you have truths?
Do you recognize your illusions?
Can you find the way to make a difference?
These are all good questions and the only reason I ask is to have you consider that maybe, just maybe, there is a reality that makes our world a better place and somewhere along the way we can find our answers together. Set aside illusions and find the truth in life, it’s out there and I know you can see it.
So as the sun sets on another day, find your way, and find the truth with it, and as you do open your eyes to the possibilities and make your reality better than any illusion. I know you can do it, no matter what.
