Another Christmas, come and gone
emotions everywhere
another Christmas come and go
yes life is always fair
another Christmas behind me now
where have they all gone
another Christmas leaving me
again I am alone
each day is an amazement
and no day can be rolled back
and as I lay me down to sleep
my dreams they do attack
before me lie less Christmas
than I had before

another Christmas I adore
a sunset passes every day
and 29,000 are usually right
but another Christmas of maybe 79
it’s quite a different site

I find myself alive again
for Christmas I’ve been sent
