The sun sets on another day…
I should have gone blind staring at the sunset today from an angle that put it behind the tree and lit the tree up like sheer beauty. It was an amazing sunset at the end of a very long day.
There’s something very interesting about being stuck on the bridge. Whether you look left or right you’re not sure which direction is going to break free first.
Today I was stuck on a bridge crossing over a river and wondering when I ever was going to get out of terrible traffic. As I looked around at the different types of people that were sitting in the bridge each of them reacted very differently. The man in front of me was in a hurry and angry and frustrated about his life trying to get where he was going but not able to go any faster than the rest of us. The people beside me seem to be lost and trying to find their way to somewhere that they really didn’t want to go cutting in and out of traffic and causing frustration to all of the drivers as they waited. But the guy behind me, I think he was asleep and every once in a while he’d move forward a little. He would find the way but was not stressing about it.
We are all crossing a bridge each and every day. We are all working our way from our start to our finish. How we deal with that is up to us. Which one are you? How do you handle your ride across the bridge?
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope your day was spectacular and I hope that each day finds happiness for you and a way forward beyond belief. Keep crossing your bridge and making today the best day ever, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live your best…
