The sun sets on another day
I’m writing this Before Sunset, it will come and there will be Beauty and I will be lost in the moment. I will add something in here maybe or leave it as is.
I find that people make me smile. How we react to people is very different depending upon how we have faced people and how people have treated us in our past. We treat people how we have determined is acceptable or how we protect ourselves.
The first stop on my list was Adrienne Barbeau. The reason that I was interested in getting her autographed was because of her role in the movie Creepshow. She played the overly crazy and controlling wife of a professor who is miserable thanks to her constant nagging.
I walked into the Lexington ComiCon today and wondered how the day would go. I have met a significant number of celebrities in my life and for the most part they are just like normal people and can be either incredibly positive or horribly negative.
She also played one of the fanciful female drivers in Cannonball Run and I often have laughed about her being pulled over by a incredibly beautiful Valerie Perrine. The scene was perfect and in fun I think that Adrienne Barbeau may have gotten a kick out of it as well.
My interaction with her was wonderful. She’s an incredible lady and we talked for a couple of minutes about a little of nothing. This is how actors and actresses should be. Positive and humble but believing in themselves and telling stories about the world.
One of my crushes when I was younger, I appreciated my time with her and went on.
