The sun sets on another day…
The beauty of the sun is very blinding. Even though the sunset holds much beauty you can only watch a little at a time lest you have cool purple squigglies in your eyes. That’s the sun set tonight I may have watched a little too much. Still, there was beauty everywhere.
Sometimes things go by too fast. What we think will last forever is gone in an instant unless there are fantastic foundations. We often find ourselves struggling to hold on only to find that what we are holding on to was long since gone. This can apply to a lot of different things, from beauty to hair, to a lot of other fun stuff that might make you laugh.
Maybe we all need to slow down for a few minutes and realize that we don’t need to be pushing the envelope every moment of the day. Maybe we need to stop and smell the roses and enjoy ourselves for just a little while.
Do you stop and enjoy your time for a moment? Do you find yourself finding a little happiness as you slow down and step to the side?
So as the sun sets on another day, someday I’ll try to slow down, but for now I’ll try to squeeze the beauty out of every moment I can and hopefully not lose at all in the process. I hope you find your way and have a little slow time too, no matter what.
