The sun sets on another day…
It was a slightly understated sunset, with white towering clouds depressing the sky and a series of evening showers that brought a twinkle to the sky. I watched and enjoyed the moment, and felt as though the day was good.
Comeuppance is defined as everything from punishments to rewards for things you have done. Most people associate it with the former, with punishment being a key thought as though it is a definition aligning with Karma. Perhaps it is. Karma has no positive or negative either, just a consideration for getting your due. Karma can just as easily be applied to positives as it can to negatives, but again, when people talk about Karma, they are considering how someone will pay for being base or lesser.
I think we should all shoot for positive and try to be a constructive and encouraging influence in the world. As we do so, are we not owed the same? If we lift others, will they not lift us?
This is the question. If we consider the idea of paying it forward, is it not possible that someday it will make it back to us? If not, why? If so, why?
Hopefully someday the seeds I try to plant will mean something. I am not sure if it will make it to me, but hopefully someone will benefit, and hopefully, one small helpful statement will make the world a better place, one person at a time.
So as the sun sets on another day, I will keep being positive even when faced with less. I will try to be honorable, even when I shouldn’t. I will walk a good path until I need to walk another, and I hope you do the same, no matter what.
