The sun sets on another day…
It was a wonderful and whimsical sunset. As the sky shifted and the sun fell over a hill, I felt good about life. After all, I was still alive.
This will be a little bit weird. If you asked most people about their spleen they would give you a blank look and wonder what you were talking about. If you asked them where it was they would like to give you an even more blank look and point somewhere towards their stomach or in their body. Still, the spleen protects you and has a purpose even though most people don’t even know they have one.
In life, there are lots of people we overlook but perhaps they are just as important to us as we think or don’t think. Sometimes people we are not exactly sure of are important, and we should all take a moment to consider if we are treating those people the way they deserve to be treated.
For purposes of today’s post, think about those people you ignore and consider saying thank you if they do something positive for your life. And thank your spleen too, it likes you.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you realize that you are important and I hope you enjoy every day for the rest of your life. Keep finding a way everyday, no matter what.
