The sun sets on another day…
Stunning, fantastic, wonderful, splendid. These are all words I would use to describe the sunset today. As I watched the skies let loose their beauty and I watched rwilight fall upon the world only to be amazed by all of it.
Sometimes the world is a little off. We are in situations where we’re not exactly sure the path to take. Before us are choices and those choices can be quite daunting. We have to determine how we want to approach them but it’s hard to know which direction to go.
If you read 29,000 sunsets you know that I love going down the path that may not be mainstream, but I also understand that sometimes if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck. That means sometimes the path that everyone is taking is the right one.
We are often faced with the decision and need to test the waters a little to see if we’re on the right path. Sometimes that’s a good thing and sometimes it’s not as committing to something can make things a lot better than not committing.
How do you approach that? Do you dive in and never look back or do you test the waters and leave a pathway?
It’s a good question and although I rarely test the waters I like the idea.
So as the sun sets on another day, I think I’ll keep going whatever decision I make. In the past I made some decisions where I tested the waters for far too long and in doing so set myself up for failure. I think I will push through and if the path doesn’t work it’s time for something new anyway. I hope you find how your choices work and make the best ones that you can, no matter what.
