The sun sets on another day…
I watched the sky shimmer and fade in a colorful calliope of fantastical hues. I would say that it was beyond belief but I believed it as I watched it happen and the sky just kept shining.
I got stuck at a bridge today. It happens sometimes when bigger boats come through they have to open the bridge wider. I watched the boat go by and it wasn’t all that big it was just a boat. The line was long when the bridge opened back up but no one was upset except maybe the person focusing on that boat and realizing that maybe the bridge didn’t need to be opened at all.
The world is an amazing place filled with adventure if only you look for it. I find myself excited everyday with the possibilities that surround me. It is my hope that as time goes on I will see more and more bridges and bigger and bigger boats going by and maybe even drive a few.
We often get lost in our own world and don’t pay attention to the boats sliding through in front of us. Maybe everything would be a little better if we actually did.
So as the sun sets on another day, pay attention to the boats in your life and even if you have to stop and watch appreciate everything around you. After all today is the only today you will ever get because tomorrow it will be a brand new today. Enjoy your todays and make amazing tomorrows, no matter what.
