The sun sets on another day…
It was a wild day. Some parts of the day were incredible deluge and the rain seemingly wanted to drown us all. Then it would be sunny and beautiful. Then the lightning would flash. Then the sky would fill with color. I guess that means we can do almost anything.
It’s funny how sometimes storms split and they miss the place that everybody thought they were going to hit. Quite often there are situations where a storm really is expected to destroy a particular area, and then it misses it completely.
I find myself there many times when I am writing. Stuck between the storms and wondering what was going to happen next or what is going to happen next. Life is full of twists and turns but when the storm comes all you have to do is ride it out.
How do you handle the angst in the world? Do you find yourself struggling with it? Do you find yourself riding out the storm? Does it work for you?
So as the sun sets on another day, the world is going to be a better place. I hope you realize how special you are if you can ride out the storm, and if you can, find a way to enjoy yourself everyday anyway, no matter what.
