The sun sets on another day…
I watched the sunset get swallowed by the trees as I drove a lonely road surrounded. It wasn’t long before Darkness fell but I had the memory of all that beauty.
I get a kick out of some people because they are in autopilot mode. You can see an example of this easily when someone comes up and asks “how are you” and someone else says “I’m fine how are you”. The resulting answer could be fine or it could be fine how are you starting an endless loop of “fine, how are you”.
I take it quite different approach and try to answer differently for each time. After all I can be as fine as frog’s hair or I can be incredibly fine about absolutely everything and in the process Define the fine or be something completely ridiculous like monumentally massive or even old tired fat and ugly. What I don’t want to be is just a frog with one voice.
In Tubby the Tuba the bullfrog sings an amazing song that is carried back to the orchestra and even Piper the Piccolo sings his little tune end up lifts the world. They don’t do this by repeating the same old thing. Instead, they find variety and play notes and make music.
Perhaps being unpredictable isn’t making music, but perhaps it is. Perhaps we just need to take a moment and pay attention and as we do understand that variety can be beauty.
So as the sun sets on another day, find yourself. Don’t be everybody else. Enjoy the world and enjoy Who You Are. Be something amazing and make everyday count, no matter what.
