The sun sets on another day…
The sky was dark with a storm that was not there a moment ago. A silent ghost or invader that swallowed the light, then was gone again. In the end, there was beauty in the darkness and in the light.
It’s that time of year again. The spooky time where everyone takes a step back for just a moment and plays with fear. Sometimes they play a little, sometimes they play a lot. Always it is fun and exciting.
As I hope you know I have explored fear through three anthologies:
This year I was working on “A Bigger Slice of Fear” when I decided to change something. You see I’ve written a lot, actually more than a lot. In doing so I have established a significant number of scary stories that pick at different types of fear. So I have taken all three books and merged them into one larger book and added several stories that have not been published before. The book is:
I also, as usual, a stab add a cool narrative it’s fun to read as well.
When I established this book I removed the serial novella “The Edge” and will eventually create a full novel based on that series. The framework is there and the story is good. This book represents a serious press into psychology and the psychology of fear by representing a significant number of different things that scare different people.
