Why miss another?

Unfettered…

The sun sets on another day…

I was driving as the sun set. It went from blinding me greatly to being a shining star (yes, the sun is a star) in front of me, changing the sky to magnificent oranges and reds as twilight attacked and took over. Beauty was everywhere.

Nashville Day 2!

I appear to have few limits in how I attack the world. Passion dictates that actions should be unfettered and built with confidence nearing a level that should be scary. I am overwhelming to some, whelming to others, but never underwhelming as I push and try to find pathways to communicate with almost everyone. For many, my approaches are too much, simply because they do not stop.

Today, my passion served me in an interesting manner. Some people were negative, it happens. Others opened up and I found a world of information, and loved the interactions. So were amazing, and I found wordplay to be spectacular.

I met a woman named Jo, and she was wonderful and made my day better just by a short discussion on publishing.

Epoch, a your writer with a few cool books giggled and laughed with me. We told dumb jokes and talked about her stature.

I met someone named Jocilyn. She admitted she didn’t read very much and struggled because she was always looking at other things and trying to make a difference with herself. She’s a theater major and reads plays, so I actually gave her a copy of one of my poetry books and in the process I hope that it inspires her to read more.

I spoke to a woman for a while to enjoyed reading for quite a while, but had no time. She was looking forward to retirement where she could read again. I am hopeful she will get to read before retiring.

I met a PhD candidate that will be working with churches to build the truth. Her view on the world was pure and clean and I am sure she will do great things as she progresses

I met Ben and Anastasia and he had been all over the Midwest but Anastasia and her wonderful ways kept him here. The twinkle in her eyes when I said something about it was unmistakable and he was obviously overly smitten with her.

I met a wonderful young lady who came to Nashville to see her boyfriend only to find he had to go to Orlando for job training. She stayed. We talked about the Midwest for a while, and her home, Colorado, and how she missed it from time to time. She was a breath of fresh air and I hope she find happiness always.

I spoke to a student named RJ for a while, and he had solid questions about writing and the world around him. We spoke for some time and he will one day be a great difference in the world

I must have talked to 50 people in depth about a variety of subjects, and as I did I’m hoping their minds opened to perhaps a little bit more. I know mine did.

I spoke to hundreds more, and some discussions were positive, some not as much. Those were a little less in depth.

It was interesting how dynamic the people were and how working with them was either hot or cold very rapidly. Some people were very and when I asked them if they wanted a bookmark or what they liked to read they rapidly said “no” and walked away. Others became curious and still others saw my picture on the front of the table and either cringed or came up and talked to me. Both make me laugh.

The question I have to ask myself is was this particular event to success?

My answer is “it was not a success financially but that is not the only thing I can consider with an event. I make many great contacts and some of them I will have to explore far more deeply. I also ended up with at least three new ideas for stories, one of them is very promising and the other two could be just as promising if I would sit down and write them. I have much to do, and I have to keep going always. To me there is no middle ground. You always have to keep swimming and work at 150% or more to make sure how did you drive yourself and live the best life possible. Isn’t that what we want? Wouldn’t it be better if we could squeeze every moment out of our life and at the end just say “that was good”.

So as the sun sets on another day, people are fantastic. People drives the world and make it a better place or sometimes a worse place but let’s hope for the better. You are part of the solution every day. Push forward and enjoy life always. You are more than amazing, you are more than enough. To all of the people that were interactive and great over the last two days in Nashville TN, thank you. To the others who found themselves in unique positions doing things that weren’t very nice, try harder and make your world the best world ever, no matter what.

Sleep sweet, love life, and be awesome Nashville…
