The sun sets on another day…
The world was crispy and the moon out, already rising in the east. I smiled as I watched the sky shift and the familiar dark blues close in. I was amazed, and the world was better for a while.
There is a future ahead of us. There is always a future ahead of us. Some people were always looking forward to that future. “If only” has become a national pastime and an international sensation. Those two words can be used to describe a variety of interesting situations, and those two words can get us into a lot of trouble.
As we define our days if we pine about the future and look forward to something that may never be we rob ourselves of potential and possibility. Every day is a possibility and the future is a mishmash of meaningless mush.
Yes, there are lots of people that live partial dreams, but you can live for more. Grab on to everything that you have and squeeze the life out of it. Hold on to everything that you have and make the world a magnificent place. It’s pretty fantastic.
