The sun sets on another day…
My fair lady told us that the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plane, but today it fell on my drive almost the entire way. As I drove I watched the rain and the only difference between sunrise and sunset was which was darker. Still, I knew that high above there was a beautiful sunset waiting to be seen tomorrow is another day.
Welcome to November. It’s a fantastic month full of excitement and maybe not quite as exciting for the turkeys. Where I live in Michigan I saw almost 20 turkeys across the road yesterday. Why did the turkey cross the road? Mostly to show the chicken how to do it because turkeys are very methodical and very quick and they don’t sit around and play like squirrels do or wander like possums or skunks. Instead they look both ways shoot across the road and are done with it. Who knew the turkeys were smarter than most of the other animals, well I guess I did.
November is already shaping up to be an interesting month and as we progress perhaps we’ll all sit back and go wow and as we do just enjoy everything that goes on around us. November will bring snow in Michigan and colder air in Alabama so no matter where I’m at things are going to change. As I wander through this thing called life I can only laugh and be positive and all of the things that are happening, and enjoy everything that I go through because anything else would be a waste of time.
I hope you’re ready for November and then the Fantastic follow-up, December. December we will see excitement and thrills and every day will be a magnificent Journey to make things better and to find a way to make things more complete. Actually December will be full of presents and Christmas and a little more excitement than we’re used to and maybe that’ll be just great.
Of special importance is November 10th. On November 10th, barring some type of silliness from the publisher, Burial Ground will release and hopefully find an audience that loves the book and enjoys excitement, a little fun, and a little more. The world will be significant because I built it and as we progress, maybe Burial Ground will set a new standard that will be just plain excitement.
I’m also working on my time book that I keep playing with the title. Burial Ground is done, 14 stairs is next, but I’ve been chopping away some chapters on that and on a new book The IT Ethics Bible. I’ve been told for years I should take all of the technological experience that I have and turn it into something. I finally decided to do that with a little more zest and zeal. A difficult problem has created a solution for me and it looks like The IT Ethics Bible will complete far faster than making it work that has been languishing for almost 7 years.
It’s funny though. I was pressed to work on making it work so that a friend of mine could write the forward. A short time ago that friend passed away and I feel bad about it and will dedicate the book to him when it is complete simply because he had such passion and we enjoyed discussions on pure technology and how to get the job done. That in itself is awesome.
If you haven’t read it go back a day to October 30th and you won’t get to read it you’ll get to listen to my story Toddler. I have gotten interesting reviews from it so far but I hope you enjoy it no matter which way you go. It was a fun story to write but it is a little controversial so beat me in the head if there’s a problem.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope your day is complete and that you missed out on the rain that I got to experience. I hope you realize how special you are and find a way for your day to be better everyday. Mostly, I hope you find happiness in everything you do and enjoy your time, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and keep reading…
