The sun sets on another day…
The sunset was, well, wow. I stared at a corner watching it pass until a car drove up behind me, forcing me to go on. There was beauty, and a bit more.
Perhaps I am different, perhaps I am the same, but I always continue to try to evolve. I have done some amazing things in my life and over the last 12 years I have found myself drawn to writing. I don’t do this lightly, nor do I do it reverently. I am not someone who professes to be so perfect that every period and every comma are to be worshipped without care or thought to story. Nor am I that person that the leaves that their writing is the only way and that it can bear no scrutiny nor beheld beyond it’s place.
Over this time I have found so many writers who were independent and small press the dwarf the demigods that rule upon the edge of writing. I’ve also seen many professed writers who feel they are so good but whose writing has made me stop posting reviews consistently simply because I don’t want to get involved in the mire and muck of their less than pleasing writing style.
What a weird way to start a post.
On November 10th I will be releasing Burial Ground. I have been teasing with it just a little bit how much and of course I have not gotten my written copies the perfection that I would like to have, but I set a date and I will meet it.
Burial Ground is a slightly different look for me as it focuses on a young adult adventure that focuses on a young woman trying to deal with conflict inside herself. The horrors of the city give way to a new world in the country that opens her eyes to possibilities. I do have a formal press release that will be put out as the book goes public put the ebook is slated and locked.
As we wait for the final printed copy I hope that you share with me a moment of triumph as I enjoy this new book and all that it can be. It is a nexus of my past, my present, and a future for readers I hope.
So as the sun sets on another day, sometimes you feel good about things because they’re good and I am there right now. I hope you can enjoy Burial Ground when it comes out because it is a story that has taken almost 8 years to write. Find a way to enjoy life as I have, and keep growing always, no matter what.
