The sun sets on another day…
What does timeless mean? Is a sunset timeless or finite? Is the sun itself timeless or finite?
Strange questions I know. Today I have good reasons to consider time. The good and bad, the positive and negative and think about how time is measured, and what truly can be considered timeless.
I use the phrase “No matter what” a lot. It is a timeless phrase if taken literally as it goes on and on, no matter what. (duh) It is funny though that sometimes people say “no matter what” and it is finite, for a moment or less, and then gone. So the bigger question is what promises on earth are timeless or are forever. We have seen so many things come and go, and some may be timeless, and some are only as timeless as the person saying them.
So, as the sun sets on another day I think we should all consider if our word is timeless, or finite. If you say “no matter what” shouldn’t it mean exactly that? If we say “forever” shouldn’t it be forever within our control? I know, I know, not exactly a timeless post, but perhaps one that may create at least 1 thought on being timeless, and being the best person you can be, the best person we know we are, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, be true, and laugh the night away….
