The sun sets on another day…
The sky was beautiful and bright and I laughed a little as the sun shimmered in the western sky and once again we had a beautiful sunset. It’s quite amazing to see that in the winter so I revel in it.
They say the people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. My question is, why live in a glass house?
If you knew your house was made of glass why wouldn’t you start putting break around it? If you knew that today was day 28,999 and tomorrow would be your last day, would that be enough for you to start living?
I find those to be tough questions for many. Far too many people get lost in the moment and far too many people watch things slip away from them more and more easily. They build their glass house, and don’t pay attention to all the possibilities. It can be tough.
The good part is, tomorrow isn’t the last day, at least I hope not. Perhaps we can recover and make today the best day ever. And as for glass houses, maybe all we need to do is add a little reinforcement and enjoy everything we can.
So as the sun sets on another day, sometimes days make you happy, and sometimes you make the day happy. I prefer the latter because I’d like a little more control and somewhere along the way to make the world seem a little more in line with everything else. I hope you find a way too and make every day the best day ever, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and did I crack that glass?
