The sun sets on another day…
Clouds bounced in and out of the world, and in the end, the sun did peek out, but only for a short time before sliding back and concealing sunset. Still, I enjoyed the frolicing clouds, and the day was good.
There are a lot of adaptations of A Christmas Carol, in an American Christmas Carol there was a very different approach as well as Scrooged and Miz Scrooge. In A Christmas Carol from 2000 we have a modern day adaptation with a loan shark named Eddie Scrooge.
I’ve never even heard of this version before, but I enjoyed it from a different perspective. Not only did this version modernize the story but it brought a little extra heart into a situation where most people ignore the considerable frustrations of day-to-day life.
Of particular interest to me was the love story that was built in and that amazing amount of time put in to explaining how people interact in romantic situations and how some are selfless and others self-serving. The story itself combines the best parts of Groundhog Day and A Christmas Carol into a cute movie worth the watch.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope you find the holidays to be as amazing as I do and I hope but you see the world in the wonderful manner that it is, and yes it really is. Find your happiness. No matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and be amazed…
