The sun sets on another day…
I don’t remember asking for more snow. Still, the snow fell and added another blanket upon the already thick blanket of snow on the driveway and everywhere on the house. I giggled at the cold weather and went back inside and enjoyed the warmth. As sunset fell it became dark, that there really wasn’t a lot of other fanfare with it. I knew that high above the beauty was everywhere.
Snow is pretty cool, but lots of snow can be quite annoying. Before I wrote this I was out pushing a snow blower as I slowly tried to work away the crazy amount of snow that had accumulated on the driveway. It’s pretty intense, and I found myself pushing hard and trying to get it done.
All is well, and always a little more.
How we handle the bad times in our life or the cold snowy times in this case, it’s just as important as how we handle the bright sunshiny days that seemed to light up the world. I hope you find a way to stay warm in this cold, but mostly I hope that you enjoy every day and, in the process, find a way.
So as the sun sets on another day, let today be the best day ever. Actually, let tonight be the best night ever. Every day can be a wonderful series of moments for us all, even in the cold, even in the snow, even if you’re pushing a snow blower. Make every day wonderful, no matter what.
