The sun sets on another day…
I didn’t get to see the sunset tonight, instead I watched a presentation and interacted with all sorts of amazing people. I’m sure that the sunset was beautiful and I am sure that I would have enjoyed it.
Yes, I used the word amazing too much. Instead how about I say that people make me feel hopeful for the world. Today I met a man who struggled walking but who step was full of life. I met a woman whose smile was full of life even as she struggled with other things. I met so many people and all of them had stories and all of those stories made me feel that the world is full of hope.
Hope is a unique word and one of the people I met, Alana, was in the business of trying to give people hope. As we watched her sing bringing the Beatles back to life I could only be amazed at a young heart finding its way to inspire so many. This is what life should be about. This is how the world should be. We should be inspiring others with our imagination and our potential for good.
Don’t for a second think that I don’t realize that there are many people struggle with the other side and the negativity can be overwhelming. I am aware of that. I am also aware that it only takes a single voice to make the world a slightly better place and that single voice should be finding the good in everyone and denying no one. There is a way to the way and it is good if we just listen.
So as the sun sets on another day, I hope I find my way. I hope I can Inspire at least one person and make their day better. I hope that we can all listen and the world can be a better place because of it. Be part of the solution and accept and accept some more. You are the key to making everything right, no matter what.
