The sun sets on another day…
I watched the edge of sunset and found the beauty to be stunning until the clouds once again took it away. The colors were still beautiful and it was still a wonderful end of the day.
As I was shopping for something completely useless I saw this puppy outside. As I watched people walked by as though it was not there and it really didn’t pay much attention to them either.
There is an old adage that you should let sleeping dogs lie, but at this point I did the only thing that I could, I had to pet the puppy. There is something very Sublime about the bond that we have with animals. I’m glad they are patient with us because far too many people are impatient with them.
I looked around the quiet marketplace and wondered who this animal belonged to even as it was sweet and nice it was under fed and my natural instinct was to try to help. As I looked away it wandered away and I was left with my wonder as I went back and got on a bus.
How do we help? How do we find a way to help those who can’t help themselves? I have a friend who feeds all the animals in the area and that only accounts for a few. How do we make it work for more?
So as the sun sets on another day, animals make the world a better place. We cannot save them all but we can enjoy every moment with them as our lives become more complete in the bond that we share. If you like animals, enjoy them, if you don’t, that’s okay. Find Your way in life and into happiness, no matter what.
