The sun sets on another day…
The smoke still closes in. Even the sunset was blocked but I know high above there was a beautiful light show. Down here on earth we were stuck with some gooey messy stuff hanging around in the sky choking the lungs out of the unfortunate but still beautiful in its own way.
A rather infamous movie once said “why ask why when how is so much more fun” and I ponder that question from time to time with extreme prejudice. Yes it is a rather strange choice of words but the idea of how is always more exciting then why.
We often come up with so many whys to avoid the possibilities that we can create. Wouldn’t the world be better if we determined how far more quickly? Wouldn’t it be much nicer if we could set aside the negativity it holds us back from achieving our goals? Why don’t I have money becomes how do I make more money. Why am I not happier becomes how can I be happier. Each question of why is easily a how and all we have to do is determine that pathway and make our how a little better.
I get a kick out of that idea.
Let’s all set aside the why or why not and make it a how. Today is a how day. Today is that day that you redefine yourself and make how work. I know you can do it. Today you determine the how in your life.
So as the sun sets on another day, I enjoy the how. I love coming up with the how to guide to do the how to thing. I hope you find a way to do that too and enjoy every day that you came, no matter what.
