The sun sets on another day…
Sunset slid by and deposited beauty everywhere as it crossed the horizon. Even then the beauty remained and I was thankful for the visions it gave.
The last few years have been harder to measure because of me.
We all measure life and our moments and minutes differently because our perceptions dissect time in very different ways. I have written many times here about pretty pony time and about how time is measured differently by situations and awareness.
Over the last year and a half time has been very fluid as I have split my focus between two very different lives. On one side I live in a calm and serene area and enjoy sunsets and a whole lot more. I find myself being lonely in the serenity but I am at peace more and I enjoy my time.
On the other side I have controlled chaos. There is good and bad controlled chaos. I get to see my grandchildren which is a positive chaos, but I’m working in a position that is often filled with unique approaches to unrealistic ideas. As I progress I work hard to try to resolve things, but that doesn’t always help. It’s like trying swallow a waterfall, no matter how hard you do there’s always more water coming. It is unique.
The measure of time shifts between the two areas. While I am at one place time goes by at a normal pace. In situations of chaos time goes by very quickly and it’s almost impossible to measure. That measurement of time becomes a question of what and how. I work on that every day.
