The sun sets on another day…
I helped my daughter as the sun slid past the western sky. There was beauty everywhere, and I was getting to help my child. The two were a wonderful contrast.
A poem for today:
A is for Agony
A is for agony, or so I am told
I do not feel it, although I’m quite old.
N is for never, the way that we die
We hold ourselves special, and never say die.
D is for dire, the end of the line,
We will be special, and never will we whine.
R is for rascal, and not the flat kind
for mischief is awesome to help us unwind.
E is for every, every time and a bit more
finding that everywhere is right at the door.
W is for wile, and not just the coyote
a way to another, a way that I wrote
We find our love always, a time good or bad.
Love is forever, happy or sad.
I hope you have found it, or at least touched the sky
lest you keep wondering, the how and the why.
So as the sun sets on another day, Keep being happy. Reach for the stars and be happy with the moon. Be your best you always, no matter what.
