The sun sets on another day…
The sun set neither slow as a turtle nor quick as a fox, it just set and as I watched I felt peace wash over me in the silence.
Never underestimate the power of a few moments of peace and quiet.
When I was little, well, as little as I can be, I remember people talking about wanting a little peace and quiet and was always curious as to why. It always seemed as though life was a series of days of controlled chaos, and nights were filled with sparkles and excitement. Then I found those days where a cool breeze blew and I looked at the sky and there was nothing, and those moments became important.
As age overtook me, I found those moments to be further and further apart, and then one day I found them again. What are they? Just a little bit of peace, and a moment of quiet.
Take a second, stop it all, set your phone aside, and just slow down. Feel the peace for a minute. Let go of all the “stuff” and just enjoy the moment. Sit outside and actually look at the stars, you may see that the peace and quiet gives you a new perspective.
