The sun sets on another day…
As the day went on the sun shone bright in the sky it filled the world with color. It was not just the color of the sky and the pure sunlight but all of the colors they did on veiled in the magnificent countryside while I drove.
It is always amazing to me how quick the world changes. There can be so many things that mean so much that change in an instant. Take the landscape I drove through today. Only a few short weeks ago it was cold and desolate and looked as though it could be easily in some Tim Burton movie where trees and branches were reaching for our very soul. Now as I look out over the countryside it is lush and beautiful and full of leaves and plants and pure greenery.
I would like to think that this type of change is something necessary in the world. We are constantly challenged with task after task that seems to be desolate and take away from who we are. It only takes a moment for that to change and for us to see the lush and fantastic positives that we have in life. It only takes a moment for us to realize did our lives are lush and full of color, if we look.
As I drove today I thought about all of the positives in my life. These positives are both people and places and yes even sometimes things. I appreciate every one of them and appreciate most all of the people that make my life special and unique. When the drudgery, the monotony, or the chaos attempts to attack who I am it is to all of those people did I feel kindred and to all of those people I am thankful for having them in my past or present. Can you say the same? What are the things that have made you see ore, and understand that the world is pretty awesome if you let it be?
So as the sun sets on another day, change is good. Change opens our minds to new possibilities. Change is that thing that allows us to see the world, and be part of a world bigger than ourselves. Are you one who embraces change or fights it? Give in, see the world, change what needs to be changed, keep what needs to be kept, and live the fullest life you can, no matter what.
Sleep sweet, love life, and live it every day…
