The sun sets on another day…
The majestic mountains set in the background as a storm rolls in and closes the view of a sunset. Lightning flashes, and for a moment there is chaos, but out of all chaos there can be order if we want there to be order, at least when it comes to people.
To me it is often amazing how many people can see chaos, talk of chaos, but let chaos happen. Obviously there is nothing we can do about the storm or the weather, or even recovering the sunset for today, but we can enjoy the sunset just as well, give thanks for the time we have, and enjoy a few moments of the day with other people. You don’t have to be the rich guy making a difference, nor the poor man trying to change the world, but you can turn chaos to order one moment at a time, just by doing the right thing, and being a good person. It really doesn’t matter about other people, let’s change our ways, and in the end perhaps the world will change with us.
So as the sun sets on another day, set aside anger, frustration and the petty things that get in our way everyday and try something positive, maybe just be nice to one person, or one hundred, but be nice, and let’s try that for a while.
