The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was lost in the mist, but I knew it was up there. Even though the cold and rain there is warmth inside my heart.
I am eliminating a lot of older papers and things from my life. As I do so I find things that I digitize or discard. There are memories all over these things, memories that are good, and maybe not so good.
I wanted to share a poem here to be used someday somewhere else or perhaps just here.
Shadows 2-22-2000
Silent Shadows of the past
Mixing slowly with the specters of the future
Times of happy and sad
becoming the morning and new day
Smiling, I take in the sights
The scents and feelings speak to me
as I learn more about life, and my life
Foundations built on where I have been
As I learn I smile
Silently I feel the wonderful pieces of life
I overlooked and at each stroke of the clock
I become more than I was a moment ago
So as the sun sets on another day, just a glimpse of the past to pass the day, enjoying the memories as I sift through life. I hope you have a super day, no matter what.
