The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was again a bit of a cloudy mess, but it was a pretty cloudy mess. I suppose it depends on how you look at it.
I was going through my old posts and realized, I have quite a few old posts. From time to time I link them in my new post to show continuity and because I write from different points of view. With that in mind I have to consider that every day is from a different point of view, and every day we have the ability to make a point.
What is your point? It is a question we should all ask ourselves from time to time. What is it that drives us and pushes us to our eventual goal. Is it honor? Love? Happiness? Is it something larger? Smaller? In the end we have something inside of us all that drives us daily, did we find that something and make it.
It is funny. A lot of times we are in a position that we think we are doing what is right, and suddenly realize “oops” and determine we are lost. I knew someone in the past that was pursuing happiness and in the process realized that what they were doing no longer made them happy. What do you do when you push and push for something and suddenly find that the something you always wanted was not even close to what you thought it was? At that point it is time to change. Right?
I am reminding of the Song “Eleanor Rigby” by the Beatles. The song is incredibly powerful if you consider the words. The main two characters are not fulfilled, no one seems to care, not even themselves. Is that how we want to be? Perhaps it is time to evaluate, to determine, “is this what I/we/you/they want?”
Find you way, determine your point, see it, live it, make the point yours, and check your course as often as you can to be on track and sailing in the right direction.
So as the sun sets on another day, second star to the left or right and on until you find your heart. After all is said and done, it is your heart that matters. Make your journey a good one, and make sure you find your point, no matter what.
