The sun sets on another day…
Sunset was lots in the drive to a new adventure. Adventures are fun and twilight was an adventure as well.
People rush in to and fro
and find the time to see
exactly when they want to see
and often it is not me
People hold each other tight
and find the strength to care
exactly what they think to care
like children on a dare
People find the heart to love
and covet warmth and passion
but it is only their own side they see
not others need or fashion
People find the truth they want
They hold it tightly too
but all too often the truth they want
is anything but true
People find the night too dark
and many can’t leave home
but I have found that sometimes night
is when you can be alone
So as the sun sets on another day, have a happy night and enjoy every moment you can, no matter what.
